Towing Systems Europe/Asia

Business area Towing Systems Europe Asia develops, produces and markets a complete range of towing systems and wiring kits.  The business area is based in Staphorst, Netherlands, and has seven production and sales facilities around Europe in Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Poland and Sweden.

Within the Business Area is also business unit Automotive Accessories. The unit develops, manufactures and markets Thule roof rails for factory installation, primarily for the automotive industry in Northern and Eastern Europe. Its customer base comprises leading car companies including Volvo, Porsche, BMW, Ford, GM, Suzuki, Land Rover and Jaguar.  The business unit has production facilities in Rotherham (UK), Hillerstorp (Sweden) as well as in Huta (Poland).

The Business Area Towing Systems Europe/Asia has approx 1,100 employees

Pro Forma Sales amounted 2007 to 1,607 M SEK, 24% of total Group sales.
