Thule is a company where people who like challenges, changes and career opportunities will feel at home. Our roots are Scandinavian entrepreneurial which means results are more important than time consuming organizational processes.
We are an open and communicative “no nonsense” company where we give our leaders far reaching financial and operational responsibility and where we expect from all Thule co-workers a commitment to performance and set objectives.
We expect from our leaders that they demonstrate clear leadership, are able to handle uncertain situations, use open and honest communication, show passion for their work and promote execution through clear target setting. We are following up all individual performances through the 2006 launched Performance Management Program whose cornerstones are continuous feedback and individual career plans.
Thule has been growing at a fast speed for more than a decade. The mixture of all Thule people shows a wide array of different professions, nationalities and ages structures where diversity is constantly improving. Working for Thule is often more than just a job. We want our co-workers to live an active life: Many of our employees bike, ski, run, hike, sail, camp, sometimes on their own but in many locations promoted by local management to do it together with their colleagues.
The Thule Group is managed out of a small head office with some 17 people in Malmö, Sweden. The main recruitment need lies with our seven operative divisions which are mainly based in Sweden, England, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Germany and the United States. We manufacture in 15 strategic assembly units on four continents and sell through own sales forces or distributors on all major car after markets around the world. In 2005 we were 2,300 colleagues but this number is constantly increasing while we grow further both organically and through acquisitions in the coming years.
