Premium Swedish motoring magazine gives Thule Vector cargo box top marks

‘Vi Bilägare’, Sweden’s most popular car magazine, has given Thule Vector Alpine top marks in its recent high-profile wintersports test.

Scoring maximum points 5/5, Thule Vector earned ‘Best-in-class’ for its PowerClick mounting system and its SlideLock locking system. The Thule Vector also won praise for its ease of use and overall structural integrity of the cargo box. In the same test Thule Motion XT also scored very highly with an overall rating of 4+.

From the test: “Thanks to the low front, the Thule Vector feels almost integrated with the car. Double-bottomed construction and reinforcements make the box rigid. With a length of 228 cm, even the longest skis are securely transported on the felt-covered bottom. Two sensor-controlled lamps and a white interior makes it easy to find your gear in the box even in the evening. The roof top box is easily mounted with Thule’s intuitive quick fasteners and the unique SlideLock mechanism with torque indication is best in class. We note that the lifts to the lid could have been stronger as the lid is heavy at the rear edge. But the box is second to none in terms of usability.”
