Hans Eckerström succeeds Bengt Baron as chairman of Thule Group
At yesterday's Annual General Meeting of Thule Group, the longtime board member Hans Eckerström was elected to succeed Bengt Baron as Chairman of the Board. In the autumn of 2021, Bengt decided to leave his role at this year’s AGM after eleven years on the board, of which the last four as its chairman.
The AGM also decided to elect Sara McPhee and Johan Westman as new board members. With broad expertise in a number of significant areas and many years of operational experience in senior roles, the Nomination Committee's motivation is that they will both provide the Board with both expertise and experience that will benefit the company and its shareholders.
To minimize the risk of spreading the covid-19 virus, Thule Group's Board of Directors decided earlier this spring to arrange this year's AGM through advance voting procedure, only.
