Thule Group supports local sport associations for engagement in nature clean-up
For the second year in a row, Thule Group have collaborated with the organization ‘Städa Sverige’ (Clean Sweden). The organization is a cooperation between Swedish sport associations to clean nature from littering. We were happy to see that this year's engagement has grown and with several teams, from two geographical regions in south Sweden – both from Skåne, where the Thule Group HQ is located, and Småland, where Thule Group was founded in 1942.
Overall we are very happy with this year's outcome. Several 100 bags of trash were picked up and over 300 young athletes and leaders were engaged with one common goal, to clean our common nature. Everything from socks, cigarette butt-ends, glass bottles to whole bicycles were found and picked up.
We at Thule Group want to contribute to a more sustainable world by offering innovative, high-quality products that inspire people to live an active life. Therefore these outdoor environmental initiatives, like “Clean the trails” in Colorado, US, and “Städa Sverige”, Sweden, are something that we believe goes hand in hand with our basic values.
