Thule at Crankworx, Innsbruck, Austria – a wild ride!
To further highlight our partnership with bike enthusiasts, we traveled with some media and a few of our ambassadors from Eurobike in Frankfurt (see separate Spotlight) to Crankworx in Innsbruck, Austria. Innsbruck is sometimes called the Capital of the Alps and offers not only slopes and skiing just around the corner, but also fantastic experiences on the back of a bike.
The Crankworx World Tour is a multi-stop series of mountain bike festivals, bringing together the best mountain bike athletes to compete in elite-level competitions in a variety of disciplines. It began in Whistler, US, in 2004 and has since grown into the largest event of its kind in mountain biking.
What a pulse, what a chill, what a feeling. Crankworx encapsulates mountain bike at its best, says Tina Liselius, VP Brand. When you visit Crankworx, you really understand what a great community mountain bike fans are, and even more fun is of course how well we at Thule get along with them. I'm already looking forward to next year's visit, concludes Tina.
Crankworx World Tour festivals also host races for amateurs, a category for CWNEXT athletes, the next generation of racers, Kidsworx contests for our youngest riders, participatory events, and celebrations of mountain bike culture, all while showcasing amazing destinations.
