Production Engineering and Automation Manager

Scope of responsibilities:

• Managing the Production Engineering and Automation area.
• Responsibility for the implementation of new products, processes, and technologies.
• Initiating and leading continuous improvement projects within the production environment.
• Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BoM) and managing the material release process.
• Updating standard work times and maintaining accurate system data.
• Managing the team and supporting the development of employees’ competencies.
• Supervising process compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 management systems.
• Delivering quality objectives and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and environmental regulations.
• Acting as an ambassador of the company culture – Proud to be Thule.

Expectations:

• Technical education (engineering or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in team management.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a production environment and collaborate across departments.
• Proactive approach, independence, and focus on process improvement.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
