Introducing a fork mounted bike carrier from Thule, designed to fit all thru-axle diameters

Available in stores early spring 2016 the Thule ThruRide is the first fork mounted bike carrier of its kind, allowing easy and secure thru-axle bike loading, without the need for extra adapters.

Loading is simple from the outset, the front thru-axle is mounted on the ground before lifting and loading the bike on the carrier. Mounting the bike is easy, with the expanding wide-jaw clamp accommodating a bike's thru-axle, with no loose parts and a precision dial to fine-tune the grip before closing the throw-hood. This engeneous design ensures a secure grip on your bike without the risk of damage to the fork. The rear wheel is held securely in place thanks to a ratcheting strap with padding to protect the wheel rim, that can be slid along the length of the rack to accommodate different bike lengths.

The ThruRide boasts the uncompromising safety features you would expect from Thule. The ergonomic precision dial ensures a secure grip by optimising clamping pressure on thru-axles, providing peace of mind whilst travelling. The secure locking system, locking the bikes to the carrier and the carrier to the vehicle means you can rest assured your bikes are protected whilst stationary as well as in motion.

With an ever-expanding range of bikes with thru-axles, the Thule ThruRide is a safe bet for anyone who wants to transport their thru-axle bike on the car roof. This versatile carrier fits the complete range of thru-axles up to 17kg - any diameter from 12 mm to 20 mm - and also fits 9 mm quick-release hubs together with the included adapter. The sliding rear-wheel cradle adds to the carrier's versatility, accommodating wheelbases up to 48" and tyres up to 2.6".
