Celebrating more than ten years of valuable and fun collaboration!

Today, Johan Klinthammar, Chairman of RBU (Sweden's National Association for Disabled Children and Adolescents) and members of RBU visited the Thule Group HQ in Malmö and talked about the organization and the more than ten-year collaboration with Thule Group. It has been over ten years of both very fun and very valuable collaboration that has meant a lot for RBU's members and for the association's heart issues.

RBU's work is very much about raising awareness around and enabling an active life for children and young people with various forms of disabilities. 

-“Our work centers on enabling children and their families to be physically active, but also about helping with daily life in the form of support, assistance, adaptations of the families' residence, etc. The association's members have a very wide range of diagnoses - from simpler mobility impairments to very difficult diagnoses that require help with everything practical in life 24/7. The support from the Thule Group has been a significant contributor to that effort the last decade”, says Johan Klinthammar, Chairman of RBU.

“The Thule Group motto is Active life, Simplified, and our community engagement focuses on helping those that need it most to be more active. Therefore, it feels very good to be able to contribute to the operations of an organization whose task is to make life easier for one of the groups that have the most difficulty living an active life such as RBU”, says Kajsa von Geijer, SVP HR & Sustainability, Thule Group.

In addition to financial support, the Thule Group has over the years, among other things, arranged several large family events for RBU member families, sports events in connection with the well-known Lilla DN Galan in Stockholm and local activities in several places in Sweden with staff from Thule Group participating in making those activities fun and engaging, to strengthen the idea of ensuring an active life for everyone.
